18 days to go

Steve Gardener’s second FA Vase update:

“The FA have now given us access to their online portal that includes everything we have to do and when we have to do it. It seems a really long checklist, but again The FA have been really helpful, and understand clubs have no previous experience of this.

Headshots of players have been taken, and we now have to get accreditation to everyone that will be in the coveted area, which includes the tunnel, benches and changing rooms.

Teams get looked after, new footballs, drinks, food, energy snacks etc. It’s the same level of service, the same staff on the day that the FA Cup finalists will get. Not sure if the dressing room music is any better at Premier League level.

So onwards and upwards. Sorting out the music, and what food to have in the dressing room, now that we now have a club badge with a high enough res.

And most importantly, I guess, we have now sold 1,606 tickets. Our first target was 1,500 and we have surpassed that. Hopefully the Boro section will be a riot of noise and colour on the day!”

If you've not got your tickets for the big day yet, a reminder that these can be purchased from the following site: https://www.wembleystadium.com/events/2024/Non-League-Finals-Day-2024
