Late starter in Senior football at the age of 24. Joined from Canning Town and was really only a squad player for the first half of the season, but came into his own after Christmas as he grew in confidence to finish joint top scorer, taking the award by virtue of not having any penalties in his total compared to Julian Edwards’ two. Also took the President’s Cup and the Player of the Year award for the season, following club tradition by leaving soon afterwards to join Leyton before rejoining Paul Joynes at Tilbury.
