Was borrowed from Billericay Town after several players left for Bishops Stortford during 1998/99 season, but spent most of the time in the reserves. Signed permanently the following season and made excellent progress as a utility player, eventually holding down a regular spot in midfield with some spectacular goals and displaying a superb attitude to all aspects of the game. Lost his place under John Bennett and left for Hertford Town, but returned when the Club’s suspension was lifted and went on to take the Player of the Year award.
