There will be a preview of Tuesday’s friendly against Sawbridgeworth Town on this website tomorrow, but before that, some information on the venue for this fixture.

Sawbridgeworth’s usual home ground at Crofters is not available, and the game will now be played on the artificial surface at Astro Leventhorpe School. The venue address is Cambridge Road, Sawbridgeworth CM21 9BY, which is just half a mile from Sawbridgeworth’s regular home venue. Supporters are asked to park at the back of the school, where there is extra parking and where the changing rooms and pitch are.

In other news, Boro supporter John Brannon is appealing for help from fans to assist a charity that supplies football equipment to a village in The Gambia. Any old shirts, shorts, socks, boots, or shin pads etc are wanted (adult or children’s sizes), so if you have any of these gathering dust at home, dig them out and give them to John, who will be pleased to pass them on. After last season’s success with food bank donations and the Easter Egg appeal that John was involved in, this is another worthy cause that Boro fans can help with.
