First, news of two of last season’s squad who will be staying with The Boro for 2026-27. Last season’s top scorer and Supporters’ Player of the Year, Flynn Hamilton, will be in the Blue & Gold again this season and also staying is striker Matt Price , who gave the squad a massive boost towards the end of last season, providing experience up-front.

The first of two new signings, joining Boro for the coming season is Aron Gordon, who was previously with Grays Athletic, where he made over 200 appearances. Also signing on is Callum Bolger, who joins as player/coach. Callum was with Sporting Bengal United last season and also played for Barkingside during 2025-26.

Management Team:

In addition to new player/coach Callum Bolger, who was assistant to Darren Manning at Grays Athletic last season, Gary Beechey will be staying with the club as part of Darren’s backroom team, as is physio Chris Le-Vien.

Pre-Season Friendlies:

The first of Romford’s pre-season games have been announced. On Saturday 11th July, Boro will entertain a Southend United U23/U18 side at Mayesbrook Park with a 4.30pm kick off and on Tuesday 21st July, Boro will visit South Midlands Spartan League side Sawbridgeworth Town with the kick-off time to be announced. Further friendlies will be announced in due course.
