New Manager Announced

Romford FC are pleased to announce that Steve Butterworth is to be the club’s new manager.

Steve has previously been at Great Wakering Rovers, where as a player he won the Essex Senior League, and where he was also manager.

Chairman Steve Gardener said it was important that the club had someone in place as early as possible to allow a new manager to get not only his backroom staff, but also players on board as soon as possible.

It was clear from the beginning that Steve understood the constraints the club was under, but also our desire to grow the support, and the club, whilst in the Essex Senior League.

This is the start of the club looking forward to the future and drawing a line under last season.
