Romford wind up pre-season with a friendly tomorrow evening against Thurlow Nunn Division One South side Enfield Borough ahead of Saturday’s opening Essex Senior League fixture against Stanway Rovers.

Enfield Borough were formed in 2016 and joined the Spartan South Midlands League where they spent five seasons. After a single year in the Combined Counties League, they joined the Thurlow Nunn League in 2022, finishing 13th in Division One South, a position they also occupied at the end of last season.

Prior to Wednesday’s game, Enfield Borough had played pre-season games against Tower Hamlets, Camden United, Baldock Town, and Rising Ballers Kensington

Tomorrow evening’s game will be played at The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London - Enfield Centre, The Ride, EN3 7GB and kicks off at 7.15pm

The venue is just over half a mile from Southbury Overground Station and a mile from Brimsdown Station. By road, it’s about 13 miles from Romford.
