Boro’s third pre-season friendly is tomorrow evening, away against East Thurrock CFC. Please note that this game kicks off at 7pm. This game follows two friendlies in which Boro were beaten 2-0 at Wormley Rovers and 4-3 at Welling Town.

East Thurrock CFC were formed following the sad demise of East Thurrock United and made their debut in competitive football least season when they entered the Premier Division of the Essex & Suffolk Border League.

After an inauspicious start in which they lost their first six league games, they recovered and went on to finish eight with 36 points from their 28 games. They began their 2025-26 pre-season campaign with a 3-2 home defeat against Hutton on Saturday.

Home Ground and How To Get There:

Tomorrow’s game against East Thurrock CFC will be played at their home ground at Wyldecrest Sports Country Club, Herd Ln, Corringham, Stanford-le-Hope SS17 9BJ which is off Fobbing Road, which is in turn off Rookery Hill, which all Boro fans will be familiar with.

After tomorrow, Boro will next be in action on Saturday 12th July, when Isthmian League side Witham Town will be the visitors to Mayesbrook Park with a 3pm kick off for another pre-season friendly.
