Romford secured Ryman League safety with their third win on the trot thanks to a Nick Reynolds brace and a goal from Joe Scott.

Romford flew out of the blocks quickly closing down their opponents and winning the ball back on numerous occasions, and in the third minute Nick Reynolds acrobatically shot over the bar while a Jack Barry header also looped just over two minutes later. The Boro's man in form Nick Reynolds could not believe his luck when the Ware captain passed the ball straight to him on the edge of the box and the striker powerfully fired the ball into the top corner to send the fans wild in the tenth minute. He then got on the end of a long ball over the defence on twenty-eight minutes but the Ware keeper was quickly off his line to block the shot. At the other end Ware rarely threatened and when they did Jamie Dicks was on hand to clear the ball off the Boro goal line. Loui Hazelwood spotted the visiting keeper had wandered to the edge of his area and went for goal from forty yards, but the ball went a yard wide with the keeper stranded before Romford doubled their lead on forty minutes. A goal kick from Aaron Omand was flicked on twice by Nick Reynolds and then Jack Barry before Joe Scott raced onto the ball and cheekily lobbed the keeper. Right on half time Loui Hazelwood chased a ball down that everyone thought was going out of play, managing to keep it in and produce a fantastic cross that the keeper palmed down nicely into the path of Nick Reynolds who made no mistake from two yards.

Romford continued where they left off in the second half with Joe Scott firing just over in the forty-eight minute when he got on the end of a long Loui Hazelwood throw that was allowed to bounce in the area. Nick Reynolds had a great chance for a hat trick but his shot was well saved by the substitute Ware keeper while the defenders clearance hit the post and went out for a corner, on sixty-two minutes. Five minutes later and Romford were denied a penalty when Robbie Norris had his ankles clipped in the box but the appeals were turned down. As so often happens after this sort of bad decision Ware then went straight down the other end and pulled a goal back when a real scramble in the Romford area was somehow turned in by Khale De Costa a minute later. With the lead reduced and with so much riding on the outcome nerves set in for both players and fans and Ware looked like a different side, knocking the ball about with renewed confidence in midfield, but despite Romford being unable to clear the ball properly or keep hold of it the visitors did little to threaten Aaron Omand's goal and Romford easily saw out the remainder of the match. The final whistle sparked wild celebrations in the crowd and on the pitch to celebrate the fantastic job done by the management and playing staff since the setbacks over Easter.
