Eton Manor started the game at a quick pace and pushed Boro onto the back foot but were unable to make the most of their chances. Omand wasn't called upon often but he made two good saves when he had to. Boro slowly got into the game and on 24 minutes Jack Barry forced his way into the box on the left and shot low into the far corner to make it 1-0. That is how it stayed until half time when Paul Martin changed the whole side for the 2nd 45 minutes.
The second half was virtually all one way traffic and on the hour Imbert caught the keeper off his line with a nice chip shot to make it 2-0. Four minutes later a low ball in from the right caused the Manor defence all sorts problems and Seymour tapped the ball in for the third. despite creating several more chances the score stayed 3-0.
