Despite Romford’s best efforts the Blues’ general overall superiority prevailed in the end which, combined with home defensive frailties, allowed the visiting forwards to score on 75 and 80 minutes with Leon Smith getting both the goals.

This latest performance will have no doubt given our management team even more to think about in the jigsaw puzzle of pre season preparation and there will be more options for them to consider in our next three home friendlies this coming week.
The first two of these will both be at Newbury Park on Tuesday and Thursday evening versus Tower Hamlets (formerly Bethnal Green Utd) and East Thurrock United respectively kick off 7pm and on Saturday we host AFC Hornchurch at Ship Lane at 3pm.
