Romford enjoyed some nice possession of the ball but were fortunate to get a draw especially as Met police hit the wordwork three times.
Met Police already had two chances before on thirteen minutes a good cross by Jay Lovett was met by Stafford Palmer to poke home. Six minutes later the duo combined again but this time Palmer's header was saved by Anderson.
On twenty-four minute Romford earned a free kick that was whipped in by Hussein Isa and James Ishmail bundled it home. The rest of the half was made up by some nice interplay by both teams but there were very few chances.
The second half was very similar to the first with few chances for either team and once again some very nice interchanges by both teams.
On sixty-nine minutes Sos Yao burst through for Met Police but his shot was saved by susbstitute Gooch in goal for Boro. Seven minutes later and Gooch was once again called into action tipping O'Shea scuffed shot onto the bar after good work from Mu Mann on the right wing.
With three minutes to go Mann and Andre Scarlett worked an opening and the following was pushed onto the post by Gooch and moments later another Mann shot that took a wicked deflection was fantastically tipped on to the post by Gooch.
