Romford face Thamesmead Town this coming Saturday at Thurrock FC .

Romford will be looking to get some points on the board and move towards mid table safety, whilst Thamesmead who are currently 10th but only 9 points behind the play off positions will know that a couple of victories will put them back in contention again. They still have 3 games in hand over some of the play off contenders.
Romford will welcome back ex favourite Jack Barry, who is sure of a warm welcome, and is fondly remembered by the Boro faithful. Thamesmead have won 3 of their last 6 league outings and narrowly beat Great Wakering Rovers in their last game 3-2.
Romford have been playing better, but still struggling in the final third of the pitch. New players have been brought into the squad, and with a couple of games under their belts it is hoped that with fierce completion for place Romford settle into their rhythm early, and make any dominance count.
Paul Vines is one to look out for in the Thamesmead side having netted 6 times in the last 8 games.
Manager Terry Spillane is well known in Essex footballing circles and was previously Maldon manager. It will be a tough game, but hopefully supporters will come and support the team in large numbers.
