As mentioned on in a recent club website forum article regarding the cost of away match travel Steve Gardener has just agreed that we use the Boro Bucket next season for team coach fund building which will be kept in a special bank account opened for this purpose.
Each coach costs around £500 for the day which has to come out of general club operational funds and is only partly covered by the fares paid by supporters who also use this service.
If every Boro supporter who attends a home league match drops in £2 each time it is estimated that we should, hopefully, get close to covering our away coach costs with the additional money donated at home cup matches, hopefully, helping to cover away cup coach travel should the need arise.
So please dig deep and come back and put at least £2 in the Boro Bucket turnstile at every home match.
