As part of our 2013/14 pre season preparations we have arranged a special intra club practice match day and social get together!

Our three senior Romford FC* teams will play each other in practice matches and new players will get to know their more established colleagues socially too. Youngsters from Romford Borough Youth & Girls Clubs^ will also be joining in with some 7 a side matches.

We cordially invite the families, friends and supporters of all the teams involved to come along, watch all the games and help to make this a really enjoyable all-round special and sociable ‘Romford Football’ day.

For refreshments there will be a BBQ on site selling hot food all the afternoon and the clubhouse bar will be open from 12 noon for the sale of hot, soft & alcoholic drinks and nibbles.

Venue is the Fords Sports Ground, Aldborough Road South, Newbury Park, Ilford IG3 8HG**.

The day’s timetable which may be subject to alteration is as follows –

11am (approx): Romford Borough Youth & Girls FC get the ball rolling and then play further games in between and after the final senior team games.

12am : 1pm: Romford Reserves v Romford Under 18s

1.30pm : 2.30pm: Romford First Team v Romford Reserves

3pm : 4pm: Romford First Team v Romford Under 18s

Entry fee to help cover the day’s expenses is £5 each (includes free 4 page programme) for all attending adults (Students and 16s & under admitted free).

It is suggested that you bring a chair or two or three with you so that you can watch and chat about the action in comfort.

**For those who do not have satnav, Aldborough Road South is south off the A12 between Newbury Park LT Station and Barley Lane (King George’s Hospital turnoff) and the entrance to the ground is just down on the left and before Seven Kings Park.

Please pass these ‘Club Day’ details on to any of your family and friends who may be interested in coming along but may not have seen this information.

Look forward to seeing you on the day!
