Are you going to be in year 10 in September ? Are you looking to move your football to the next level.

Romford Borough Youth, the Romford FC youth section are looking to hear from players who will be in year 10 September 2015, and are looking for a pathway from junior football and beyond.

The team currently play in the Chelmsford League division 2, but the club is looking to progress to playing in the Eastern Junior Alliance, against other non league teams.

The club also currently run a two year programme for students who have left school, and wish to enrol on a course that combines both football and academic studies. Our extended BTEC course, run in conjunction with Havering College is the equivalent of 3 A levels.

Successful players will train in the morning, with lessons in the afternoon and compete in the Football Conference Youth league. Players who show aptitude will also be invited to train with the first team with a view to progress players into non league football.

The course is separate to playing for Romford Borough Youth and there is no requirement for any player to enrol on the course, but wish to illustrate that the club has a long term plan for players, at an age when too many players stop playing.

There will be trials at the end of the season, in June, to ensure this current seasons fixtures are completed. If you wish to be considered please email romfordfc@aol.com to register your interest or for more details. all enquiries will be treated with the strictest of confidence.

The team currently train in Romford on a Saturday, and on astroturf midweek. Games are played on a private sports ground in Redbridge, with excellent facilities.
