For Needham Market tomorrow Paul Martin intends to take a squad which will predominately consist of last season's first team players as a sort of thank you jolly boys day out.

A joint team/supporters coach for this fixture will depart from Mawney Road School at 11.45 am (off road car parking is available) and also pick up at the Brentwood Holiday Inn Hotel at 12 midday. Return fare for supporters for this trip is Â£10.

The squad for the home AFC Fisher game will be selected from the new players who have joined us together with a number of final trialists.

There will be no first team training on Monday evening because of the two weekend fixtures.

Paul says that by Wednesday he expects to have more or less decided on an eighteen player choice for next season but will be leaving room for another four or so which he feels he needs to make up a well balanced 2009/10 squad.

He should be in a position to name his final squad later next week and as soon as it has been sent to me I will put it onto our website.
