Paul Martin has pledged his future to Romford FC for another season
Both Vice Chairman Colin Ewenson and Chairman Steve Gardener are delighted with Paul Martins decision to stay at the club for another season.
Despite our final position last year both Colin and Steve believe that he was the only person to lead the club for the forthcoming season.
Martin, well liked and respected by players, club officials, and supporters was the only choice considered.
Martin has already been in contact with players, from both our existing squad and possible new signings.
Trials this season will be by invitation, to allow the club more time to work with a smaller group of players, over a longer period before Martin, and his backroom staff of Alex and Mark Lord make their final decision on squad numbers.
The players will be well looked after as once again physio and fitness coach Kate Thwaites has agreed to also stay at the club
I am sure supporters will be as delighted as the club is that Martin is staying. We believe there are no other managers that could assemble a squad with the players we have had over the years with the restrictions Martin operates under.
