First time Boro have met the K's since 1959 in the old amateur Isthmian league.

Instructions for travelling to the Romford FC home ground at Ship Lane, Aveley RM19 1YN!

BY VEHICLE.
1. If using satnav the postcode you need is RM19 1YN

2. For a Google route from door to door put your departure postcode in Box A and RM19 1YN in Box B at the Match Centre link on this website's fixture/results page then press DIRECTIONS and follow the instructions given.

3. Driving from the south via Dartford Tunnel. Use the left hand tunnel and exit at Jctn 31. Take the third exit signposted Aveley and the entrance to the ground is just round the right hand bend on the right!

4.Driving from the north via M25 exit Jctn 30 and then the second exit at the traffic lights remaining in the left hand lane. At the next traffic lights follow round right and take the fifth exit which is signposted Aveley and the entrance to the ground is just round the right hand bend on the right!

There is a large free car park at the ground.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
1. By train you can use the C2C Rail Service which today because of railworks will leave from London Liverpool Street instead of the usual London Fenchurch Street and travel on the Shoeburyness route. Alight at Rainham and then transfer to the 372 bus service. (Details are shown below)..

Or,of course, you can take the District Line Service all the way to Elm Park Station and transfer to the 372 bus service instead (Details see below)

2. By bus use the 372 service which runs between Hornchurch town centre via Elm Park District Line station to the Lakeside Shopping Centre. Alight at The Thurrock Hotel which adjoins the football ground. Timetable for this bus service via link - http://www.londonbusroutes.net/times/372.htm
