James coaches our U16 girls team after previously leading sides at Colebrook Royals and Chigwell. He is an FA Level 1 qualified coach who played for QPR and Charlton Athletic as a schoolboy. James is also a noted football writer and has contributed articles to The Guardian, FourFourTwo and the Always Football tactical blog.

MICHAEL COLKETT

Michael is the assistant coach of our U16 team. He is an FA Level 1 qualified coach who also coached previously at Colebrook Royals and Chigwell.

U13 – DARREN DENNIS

Darren has worked with his Under 13 players for the last season and a half and has held an FA Level 1 coaching qualification for 8 years. He began coaching a boys team at County Park FC and then moved to Hornchurch Urchins Girls. He has additionally worked as an individual coach with both elite level girls and boys over that period.

Darren played ten years of youth academy football at West Ham, Charlton and Southend, before finishing his career in the amateur ranks.

He has used this combined experience from coaching and playing, as well as watching Elite Youth Women’s coaching on a weekly basis to learn and develop his own coaching, with a focus on the development of players, understanding of the game and the team style of play.
