Was released by Aylesbury United earlier in the 1998/1999 season and came to Sungate but had to wait a week for his debut. Started off in midfield but, following the injury moved back to become a dominant centre-half, particularly in the air. Left to join Billericay Town at the end of the season but returned to Romford in December, only to suffer a broken toe in the Christmas fixture at Leyton Pennant.
