Scored in each of his next nine games and hit another run of prolific form in the New Year, scoring sixteen goals in ten games culminating in a double strike in the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy Final as Boro beat Ilford 3-0. Scored once in pre-season and didn't find the net again until five minutes from the end of his last game before starting his 35-day suspension, and went another five games before finally hitting another run of form then missing a month with fractured ribs.
