Derek Duncan said, “It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to step down as Romford FC manager. With results not going our way I feel it is best for both parties that we part company. I would like to thank everyone at the football club for all their efforts, and wish Romford all the best for the remainder of the season.”

Chairman Steve Gardener said that on behalf of the club he wished both Derek and Mark all the best in whatever is next for them.

The club are not accepting applications for a new manager and hope to announce someone in the next 24 hours.
