Goalkeeper who had a brief moment of fame on New Year's Day 1996 by appearing for West Ham United, becoming the youngest player in Premiership history. Joined Romford in 2004 and 1uickly justified his inclusion with a series of outstanding performances. Became the third goalkeeper to win the Player of the Year award and was named as club captain for the start of the 2006-07 season. Kept clean sheets in four successive F A Cup and F A Vase ties but then suffered a thigh muscle injury which prompted frequent absences. Was first choice keeper in the 2008/09 Championship team but missed a few games through injury. Missed a lot of football due to a knee injury that would eventually force him to retire one game short of his double century.
