Biography

Appearances 40 (League 26)
Goals 12 (League 5)

Youth team player and prolific scorer for the reserves, making fine progress through the season and turning up in the first team squad on a frequent basis towards the end of the season. Made his name by lobbing Les Cleevely with a spectacular injury-time equaliser at Sutton United in a Guardian Insurance Cup replay in February 1998. Was handed his big chance the following season as a result of the exodus at the end of January, and made a good claim for a regular place with some important goals, including a late winner against Canvey Island. Left the following season to join Hertford Town and later turned up playing against Boro in the Essex Senior League for Enfield Town, scoring twice in a 4-1 win at Rush Green in November 2004 and again in a League Cup tie at Rush Green the following February.
