Romford FC announce their most ambitious fundraising campaign

On the day before the season starts the club announce it’s most ambitious and fundraising campaign. The aim is to raise £10,00 hence the name project 10, and we are hoping through supporters, and use of social media, we are able to reach a wide audience and raise this much needed money.

The money will go towards three separate areas. Firstly towards our rent, without which the club obviously cannot continue. Secondly we want the players to have the opportunity to train all through the winter, and part of the money will go towards financing this.

Finally, but no less importantly the club wish to purchase a defibrillator. These can save lives, both on and off the pitch, and recent events have shown why all clubs should try and purchase one.

£10,000 is a lot of money but we intend to have several initiatives to raise funds, including a sponsored event, crowdfunding, Christmas raffle, and many other events.

What we need supporters to do, as well as helping kick starting the funds over the next couple of weeks is to publicise project 10. For those of you on twitter use the #project10, and send e mails to other supporters and your friends.

There are many non league clubs out there fundraising in this way to assist their clubs, so we should all push this,

Whether you are an individual, local business, or a supporter and want to know more e mail romfordfc@aol.com or visit www.romfordfc.com where our fundraising totaliser will be displayed once we are up and running.
