Manager Paul Martin is delighted to have secured the signing of 6.4ft centre back Tom Vickers . Tom as been playing in the USA for the last couple of seasons but is now back in the UK and looking forward to the new season with Romford.

He captained Waltham Forest when they knocked out Romford in the FA Cup three season ago. He impressed Martin then, and is a welcome addition to the squad.
Martin said he was happy with the way the squad was shaping up, and was looking for just 4 more players from the trialists to join the squad.
He has plenty of choice as the club received 120 applications this season.

Some players have departed the club and Martin paid tribute to their services and wished them well at their new clubs.
