GOLD BOND LOTTERY
Romford launched their Gold Bond lottery on 1st October 2004. Gold Bond allows non league clubs to raise funds and generate income easily. Joining Gold Bond costs £1 and you will be given a membership card with 7 numbers on, these remain your numbers for as long as the draw takes place. Every week there is a prize draw with over 400 weekly prizes. Top prize is £2000 per week . Once a month this rises to £5000 and 4 times a year you have the chance to win a new car.
The club are currently looking for agents and members. Agents just have to sign up family, friends and colleagues and collect £1 a week from them for their numbers to be in the draw. If someone does not pay one week all that happens is they miss that draw, you can opt out at any time.
The club have a target whereby by the end of February 2005 we will have about 300 members and as the club receives 50p per member per week this would generate approx £8000 per annum for the club. THIS COULD BE THE FINANCIAL LIFELINE WE NEED. But you have to help. Could you collect £1 from 3 or 4 people a week ? If so you are ready to be an agent. All agents are entitled to commission and 10% of the prize money won is given to the agent so if you sell a winning £5000 prize you pick up £500. You can collect weekly, monthly or pay by Direct Debit.
